Tips for printing TPU on the Qidi X-Max
- Print TPU slowly (20–30 mm/s) — the flexible nature causes feeding issues at high speeds.
- Disable or minimize retraction to prevent grinding. Direct-drive extruders handle TPU much better than Bowden setups.
- Dry TPU filament before printing for consistent results and to prevent stringing.
