Tips for printing PLA on the Creality Ender-5 S1 Sonic
- PLA is the easiest filament to print. Start with the recommended 215°C nozzle temperature and adjust by ±5°C based on under/over-extrusion.
- Keep fan speed at 100% for best layer adhesion and bridging performance.
- Bed adhesion is excellent with a clean PEI sheet — no glue stick needed.
- Lower print speed (40–50 mm/s) for detailed parts; increase to 80+ mm/s for drafts.
